expanding their team and looking for dynamic individuals who are following

Our Bismarck office is looking to expand our Cultural Resources team to
meet future and current project demands. This is a temporary, part-time,
on-call, field technician position with project work located within North
Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Minnesota. Your role will be to assist
with all project needs. Applicant(s) should be able to work for 40 or more
hours per week on a sometimes unpredictable and/or fluid schedule.
Job Requirements


Conduct archaeological fieldwork including solo monitoring, survey,
testing, and data recovery. Use of topographic maps, aerial photographs,
GPS units, and other maps and tools to carry out required job functions.
Assist with mapping responsibilities in the field, including collection of
GPS data using Trimble units. Additional duties include assisting with
reports and other technical documents, conducting Class I/file searches,
site form preparation, literature review and historic or prehistoric
research.

A Bachelor's Degree in anthropology, archaeology, or a closely related
field or six (6) months field experience with a range of field
methodologies, including survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring
required

An accredited Field School Certification is preferred

Experience with a wide range of field methodologies, including
archaeological survey, testing, excavation, methodology and monitoring.

Knowledge of ArcPad or TerraSync is a plus

Current valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate a 4wd
vehicle on rugged, backcountry roads required

Ability to travel to a location, walk and conduct fieldwork for long
hours, sometimes in inclement weather, rugged terrain, often at high
altitudes, and ability to carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 40
pounds is required
