  • Field School Conditions: The site and Fort Hood are located near a number of towns which have numerous grocery stores, restaurants, and other businesses.
  • Field School Access: Access to the site is quite easy (up to a 45 minute drive).
  • Number of years for field school: The 2006 field season marks the forth year of data recovery at 41CV115(A).

    Field School Description

    41CV115(A) a is large, dry, stratified rockshelter with a total area protected by the extant overhang is ca. 89.36 m2 and broad talus slope. Remote sensing conducted at the site indicates no historic disturbance. Todate, 21 square meters have been opened. Maximum depth of deposits is ca. 1.02 meters.
